Thank you for considering Hospitality Upholstery Co. as a supplier. We are unique in many ways. First of all, we are a division of Contract Inc. which manufactures contract products exclusively. This means that 100% of our research and development budget is devoted to products designed to perform in the contract environment. Other major manufacturers consider contract a necessary evil (it represents 3% to 5% of their business) as the majority of their sales are to the retail markets. We manufacture an extensive line of upholstered chairs, love seats, sofas and sleeper units for the Hospitality, Health Care and Time Share industries. This commitment to contract only enables us to offer almost any specification without difficulty. A special specification loveseat? No problem! A custom sofa bed or sleeper chair? Easy!

Terms
50% Deposit/Balance C.B.D. or C.O.D., F.O.B. our plant.

Cancellations
Cancellations will only be accepted prior to our cutting of fabric and may be subject to a cancellation charge if fabric has already been received.

Delivery
We will state expected delivery dates but factors beyond our control can occasionally lengthen delivery time. In special cases call us....we will try to help!

Packaging
The factory will exercise one of three options.
1) Plastic shrink wrap at No Charge.
2) Plastic shrink wrap with corrugated end trays at No Charge.
3) Full cartoning: Sleepers, Sofas or Loveseats-$10.00. Chairs and Ottomans-$5.00.

Standard General Product Specifications

Frames
All our frames are made of 100% kiln dried American Hardwoods (NO PARTICLE BOARD IS EVER ALLOWED) that is selected for resistance to termites and variations of ambient humidity. They are double doweled, glued, stapled, hand nailed and screwed. All corners and stress points are heavily blocked. Every frame is hand made and warranted for the life of the product assuming normal usage.

Springing
We use a proprietary spring system that makes use of steel bonding wire to connect our springs. Springs are 8 gauge high tensile strength steel that is coated to resist rust and corrosion and oven tempered. Our spring constructions are designed to "distribute the load" in order to resist sagging. Push on a single spring and the rest move. Springs are warranted for the life of the product assuming normal usage.

Cushioning
Cushions are fabricated with high density urethane foams and bonded polyester fibers. They are warranted against loss of resiliency for three years. The loss of resiliency should not be confused with normal softening and flattening that occurs in all foam as a result of age and use. High resiliency and combustion modified constructions are available to meet any specification. See "General Options" for additional information.

Tailoring
All styles are hand cut and flow matched. For C.O.M. applications we suggest submission of a fabric sample and written instructions or the factory will excercise it's own judgment. Exact matching with certain fabrics is impossible but every effort is made to apply fabric in the most perfect manner possible. Skirts are lined and outside arms and backs are fully padded. In short, everything is padded everywhere!

Sleeper Units & Bedding
All sofa-beds are constructed with Leggett & Platt heavy duty contract mechanisms with trampoline decks for firm support. All sleeper units are supplied with multi-needle quilted contract six inch innerspring mattresses covered in a teflon coated F/R ticking and made by Hospitality Bedding Co. in our bedding plant. Chair beds come with a 4" polyurethane mattress. Sleeper mechanisms have a warranty from Leggett & Platt covering manufacturer's defects. We are proud of our sleepers and feel they are the "best in the business".

Fabrics
Print converters, leather tanneries and fabric weavers offer no warranty to Hospitality Upholstery Co. so we cannot extend one to our customers. All fabrics are carefully checked when they are received by our factory. We suggest that our customers do the same as we cannot honor claims subsequent to receipt of merchandise.

Dimensions
Sizes vary to a small extent with fabric thickness, leg treatments and cushion options. In addition, since our product is hand crafted, there is a small variance due to the "human factor". Please call if dimensions are critical! Claims subsequent to delivery cannot be honored.
